About Lum Candles
SOY COCONUT BLEND
I custom blend my wax of the highest grade organic soy and coconut. Seriously, my dog licks this stuff if I spill it. Though annoyed, I am not concerned for his safety.
HAND POURED
All candles and other items are hand poured by me in small batches in the basement (an upgrade from the kitchen).
ETHICALLY SOURCED
Candles and goods are hand crafted using phthalate free fragrances; all natural cotton wicks, high quality reusable glass or metal containers, and a large dose of love.
Some oil blends and cotton wick combos burn faster and hotter than others.
CANDLE CARE
Be sure to never leave candles unattended. Always keep wicks trimmed, only burn away from fire hazards on level surfaces, and follow all instruction on warning labels.
DOUGH BOWLS
Each bowl is hand carved. Small cracks may develop naturally due to burning wax. Practice caution to avoid damage to furniture and other items due to the potential for leaking hot wax.
WHISKEY GLASSES
Whiskey, rum, bourbon...whatever you choose to to resuse them for; be sure to thoroughly clean jars with hot soapy water to remove all wax and oil residue that may remain after the candle is gone.
Why Lum?
Lum is a really wonderful quaint agricultural based community. People around here look out for each other and I couldn't think of a better tiny Michigan town to base my family, farm, and business.
